Can't stand it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just hate living month to month! I wish that money would not be an issue, but it is. At times I dream about what it would be like to not have to live like this. I think many people say they live month to month but really don't. I think they have it comfortable but say that because it may feel like that to them. But when I say that I live month to month I mean I have just enough to pay the bills and if there is left over then I can splurge and go out to eat or get a coffee.

I am not complaining, although it may sound like it. I am so greatful for the jobs and money that God has provided. I just am curious to know what it would be like to have the chance to splurge and live for one month how I dream of it.

Some highlights!

I have had a really good week, it was what I needed!

I forgot how beneficial and fulfilling church retreats could be. I see the fruit of the time I spent away last weekend playing out into my life. It was a jump start that I needed to get back on track with my quality time with God.

Check THIS out! My little brother, Matthew, and I along with my dad went to an extremely exciting White Sox game today! A come back from behind. A day in Chicago is always a good time!

This week my enthusiasm for cupcakes has just been bursting from my seams. I am excited to see what the future holds for this business!!!!

My final highlight was that God has provided some jobs for July. I was a bit skeptical and nervous as to how I would survive next month, but I feel like I was really blessed yesterday with a few different calls for jobs in the upcoming weeks.

I love weeks like this! It was long overdue!

Can you say....

SWEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The White Sox have just swept the St. Louis Cardinals. Yes, the Cardinals are a first place team, but they are not very good.

This series was so fun to watch. The first game we scored TWENTY runs. It was so exciting to watch. And then tonight we shut them out. Freddy Garcia rocked the pitching mound.

I look forward to seeing these smokin' hot players on Saturday! GO SOX!!!!!

Ewwwww

As I continue to nanny I am amazed at the kind of baby food that I have fed my little kiddies.

Here are 2 interesting (actually disgusting) ones:
-Beef and chicken sticks that are soaked in water
-Veal (pureed, the smell was awful)

What other nasty flavors will they come up with? Chicken Parmigana? Tacos?

Oh, you can't go to heaven...

No we did not sing that familiar camp fire song at our all church retreat this past weekend. Thank goodness!!!!

It was so fun to get away and hang out with so many people. It is great to be able to get away and leave so many distractions behind and just have quality time with my church.

I was pleasantly surprised to arrive at camp and realize that the theme was The Amazing Race. I was so excited! I really enjoy watching the show and wondered what it would be like to be a part of that race. Our church was divided into teams and different tasks at hand to do. Not only would you receive a flag for coming in first there were also flags hid around this HUGE camp. It was a lot of fun and a great activity to get to know other families and it built unity. Our team was in second place and came back from behind to win! It was awesome!!!!!

Something I did realize is that I DO NOT LIKE camping. I link camping with staying in cabins. The cabin I was in was SO nasty. From cobwebs hanging everywhere to dead bugs in the shower to a slanted matress that not only made me not sleep but messed my back up even more. When I was younger sleeping in cabins didn't bother me but now it is a different story. Times have changed!!!

Bring on another race...let's go!

Camp

My church is going on a all church retreat/camp this weekend. I am so excited! I loved going to camp with my highschool youth group. All those great memories are flooding my mind...bonfires with smores, swimming in the lake, great conversations, yummy camp food, wars against the guys...Should be fun!

A New TV Show

Did anyone watch this new TV premier tonight?

Who do you relate to?
Do you think this is really going to work?
Would you wonder what it would be like if you were on the show?
Do you now want to move to San Fransisco?
I am curious to know what the rest of the episodes are going to talk about, how are they going to fill the rest of the show with this informative material?

Curious for some feedback.

I'm Back

It was an enjoyable week in Disney World. Surprisingly, the week didn't just whiz by as any vacation usually does. My family and I went to all four Disney parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM studios, and Animal Kingdom. We even spent a day at Universal Studios.

Top Highlights from each park...

Magic Kingdom-
-Splash Mountain
-Space Mountain

Epcot-
-I've grown to appreciate the countries part of Epcot. In China there was a pulled sugar demonstration that was fascinating to watch.
-You must check out the new ride called Soarin, it is very cool!

MGM Studios-
-Car Stunt Show (this was a show that has these stunt drivers driving these cars at insanely fast speeds spinning out, smoking tires, driving on 2 wheels...all to show you how an action scene in a movie is filmed.)
-Tower of Terror (a great lose your stomach ride)
-Who Wants to be a Millionaire (a very fun and interactive game that everyone in the show participated in, you can even win prizes.)
-Rock N Roll Rollercoaster (wow...this ride is fast!!!!)

Animal Kingdom
-
-Mt. Everest (a new roller coaster)

Universal Studios-
Loved this place but my very favorites coasters were:
-Revenge of the Mummy
-Spider Man
-The Dualing Dragons

We had a great time that included lots of fun at City Walk at Universal. This was a great place for amazing restaurants, entertainment, and music. Another exciting part was driving up to Tampa for the day and renting a boat to knee board and tube. The ocean was so warm and we even saw some dolphins that were 10 feet away from us.

This was a vacation well needed...ready for my next trip.

Kids totally crack me up!

Once again I laughed my ass off when I watched my four boys today.

Two of the boys were having a hard time getting along. We started discussing qualities on how to treat other people. The boys said things like being kind and nice because it says that in the Bible. I agreed with them and added that we are suppose to love people especially our siblings.

One of them looked at me and said, "love is a sexy word. When you love someone you snuggle with them, moms and dads snuggle." And then he proceeded to show me how to snuggle...and you know what he showed me...how to hump the ground.

I sat there in amazement as this 5 year old showed me this, I was laughing at times because I thought it was pretty funny but then was appauled because this little guy knows way too much at such a young little age.

Let me tell you it was a VERY interesting day.
